This microbiology manual has been developed for science teachers to facilitate learning and stimulate student interest by applying microbiology and scientific concepts to real-life.
Adam Stefanile and Dr. Rob DeSalle designed this curriculum to supplement the current biology curricula by including aspects of microbiology, bacteriology, virology, and biological processes. By addressing the National Science Education Standards, science teachers will be able to support scientific literacy and independent student-centered learning by allowing students to learn at their own pace, support their learning by reviewing the concepts, using the American Museum of Natural History: Science Bulletins, and emphasizing their learning by drawing previously learned concepts.
